Bottom Lashes

Bottom lashes are not included in a full set. But, you'll be amazed how adding 15-20 lower lases can make your eye appear bigger and more dramatic. Bottom lashes may not wear quite as well as your top lashes, when you shed tears or rub your eyes, bottom lashes typically tend to be the ones that go first. Coming Spring 2024!

Fills

Once you've got your first full set of extensions, you refill appointment will be a breeze! Your artist will ask if you'd like to make any changes to the look and then get started getting your lashes back into shape by removing loose and grown out lashes and applying new. Fills are recommended every 2 weeks. If you wait 3 weeks or more between fill appointments or lose more than 50% of your lash extensions, additional time is needed and an extended fill appointment must be scheduled.

Preparation

Arrive with a clean face and clean eyelashes. Residual oils and makeup prevent the adhesive from properly bonding. No mascara or lash curling or any other manipulation.

Avoid moisturizers and sunblocks on and around the eyes prior to your appointment. The oils found in these products causes the adhesive to break down and won't properly adhere to your lashes.

Be comfortable! Wear comfy clothes, remove your contacts, silence your phone and relax. Lash appointments can take a couple hours - enjoy this time to be pampered.

Facials first, lashes last. Facials must either be scheduled prior to lashes or 48 hours after lash application.

After Care

Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours. This includes showers, steam, saunas and crying. It is recommended not to wear contacts during this time to avoid solution getting on your lashes.

Cleanse, brush and dry your lashes daily. This will prevent germs, makeup and oils from hurting your extensions.

Use only lash extension-safe products at all times. Avoid using waterproof mascara and any oil based skincare products or cosmetics. These can cause the adhesive to deteriorate.

Avoid sleeping on your face or lashes. Do not rub, pick or pull on your lashes.

Do not curl, perm or tint your lashes after your extension service.

Schedule fills every 2 weeks as needed and only have lashes removed by a professional.

Preparation

24-48 hours prior: exfoliate! This is the first step to achieving flawless spray tan results. It is best to clear away dry, dead skin cells with a sulfate-free scrub to polish and prep the pH balance of hte skin to keep orange undertones at bay.

Avoid using bar soaps, high pH shower products or in-shower moisturizers.

Complete any waxing, shaving or use of depilatory creams no later than 24 hours prior to your sunless tan.

Wear dark, loose fitting clothing and no jewelry to your appointment. Tight clothing can run or smear bronzers, especially around the knees, elbows, chest and waist.

Don't apply lotions, creams, perfumes, deodorants or makeup prior to your appointment. This creates a sunless barrier.

After Care

Refrain from showering as long as possible. Also swimming, rain, sweating, massage, pedicures or anything with moisture build-up on the skin. Ideally 24 hours. Sunless color begins showing development around 4 hours post application and continues to darken for up to 24 hours. If you must shower prior to 24 hours, do so using a warm water rinse only, but know this may lessen the results of your tan.

Moisturize! Once dry, add noisture to seal sunless results and boost the DHA reaction.

Use Paraben-free products to preserve the life of your sunless tan.

Using bar soap or body soaps can strip away your sunless tan.

About Waxing

Using a variety of wax types, including both hard and soft wax, our wax experts will choose the best wax for you based upon area(s) being waxed and your sensitivity.

Your skin is prepped and wax is applied warm and gently removed for the smoothest skin. A soothing moisturizer is then applied for maximum comfort. Mixed Elements proudly stands behind our "no double dipping" policy. A fresh wax stick will be used each time in order to eliminate the risks associated with cross-contamination from double dipping. Your health, safety and comfort are our top priority.

Please allow at least two weeks of hair growth prior to receiving a waxing service.
